Starting Something New

Welcome to Soul Palette, also known as the wee corner of the internet that is dedicated to my real life, reflections, playful moments, ideas, and aspirations. On this blog you will find honest tidbits from a soul primarily consisting of love for a wonderful husband Tim and our life together as we press onward toward each other and toward a life wholly dedicated to following Christ, our deliverer.

As an art student with a love for painting, I found the word “palette” to be a relevant way to describe the mixing and mashing of thoughts, events, and emotions (as opposed to pigments)  that are sure to be published on this blog as time passes!

A bit about us: Tim and I were married (at the young ages of 20 and 21) in May of 2015 after five years of hand-holding and dating and growing up together. Our wedding day was a joyful one that we were able to share with the people that we love the most! I revisit it in my mind often. Our love is a good one. We love spontaneous adventuring, watching movies in our “movie sweaters” (Tim is a film connoisseur to say the least), delicious food, exercise, all things creative, and spending time with our incredibly dear family and friends. We challenge each other in new ways everyday, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m so inspired by Tim’s endless support, sense of humor, tenderness, and enthusiasm throughout daily life.

Thank you for reading! I’ll be back before you know it.

  1. I love that we both started blogging at pretty much the same time! This is going to be so fun to have someone to go through the new phases of blogging with!

I can’t wait to see where blogging takes the both of us 🙂
