Snail mail… it’s truly a dying art form. My week has been made, however, because a sweet friend of mine named Anna Caroline, who I rarely get to see because of the three hours of distance between us, took the time to write me a handwritten letter (on the cutest watercolor stationery, might I add), enclose some photos from a happy memory we have together, and send it my way. A small act that showed big heart.
All but a few of our good friends have moved away from where we are, so Tim and I have found ourselves a tad lonely at times. Today was a nice reminder of being cared for from afar. Jesus knew just what I needed. Thanks for your constancy, Anna Caroline!
