Bring On The Fall

It’s September. The month of transitioning from the summer heat to the crispness of fall. Usually, I’m actually pretty bummed to be saying goodbye to summer; as an insanely cold-natured person and a lover of the beach and free time, summer has always been my happy place. But, now I must admit… this year, I’m so ready for fall to hit! I don’t know what it is, but there’s such a sense of excitement and anticipation that comes with fall. It’s always been that way for me, but this year, its so much more powerful!

Not gonna lie, I’m basically finding myself with a new outlook on life every time I smell a fall-scented candle or pull a cozy sweater over my head (although the sweaters are coming in handy indoors more often than outdoors for me at this point. Arkansas). I can’t wait for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Tim’s birthday, my birthday, Christmas, New Years… Oh my!

I am so looking forward to the things planned for fall and winter this year, including some new creative blog and video projects, traveling, art making, and possibly a new hair color… We shall see! One of the things that Tim and I are both super eager about is getting involved in a “lifegroup” (small group) of young adults through our church. I’ve so enjoyed being involved with high-school and middle-school aged kids, and leading them in small group settings, but getting to be with people who are in our same stage of life is going to be a whole different ballgame! Absolutely cannot wait.

Quick shout out to Shabby Apple for sending me the lovely dress that I’m wearing in these photos. Their products are very feminine, high-quality, and super flattering, which is always nice. It’s also quite refreshing that this dress is long enough that I am totally worry free if I have to bend over to pick something up off the ground! Don’t know about you guys, but I’m all about avoiding potential malfunctions!

Thanks for reading! Xoxo
